A self-taught artist who was inspired by the likes of Julian Schnabel, Franz Kline, Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko, Willem de Kooning, Stuart Davis, Lee Krasner, Helen Frankenthaler, and Robert Motherwell to name a few.

Driven to constantly be pushing the envelope, a singular painting style never stuck.  Having a different feeling before and during each painting (including different colors) led to each work having its own distinct style and life.

Originally making the decision to paint under a pseudonym, the name was created through the combination of Tom Ford and Jimmie Foxx (former Major League Catcher).
